Find your hardware before you buy anything.
This is the driver catalogue that ships with the platform, not a wish list. Every entry is a device the controller talks to today, and new drivers arrive as a software update — a device joining this page never means new hardware in the cabinet.
Open protocols first
It does not have to be on the list to work.
Open protocols reach devices that no vendor driver names. They are how a cabinet full of unlisted hardware still ends up under one schedule — and they are the reason the brand list below is a floor rather than a ceiling.
Generic Modbus
Modbus RTU / TCPThe fallback for hardware no driver names: where the manufacturer publishes a register map, the device can be read over RS485 or Ethernet. Whether it can also be controlled depends on what that map exposes.
EEBUS
SHIP / SPINEHeat pumps, wallboxes, storage and PV that carry the EEBUS mark. Pair the device and it appears — no brand entry needed.
OCPP charge points
OCPP 1.6JAny charge point that can dial into a local central system. Point it at the controller and it registers itself.
KNX
KNXLighting, blinds, HVAC and metering actuators on an existing KNX line — the controller joins the bus rather than replacing it.
Home Assistant
REST / MQTTWhatever Home Assistant already integrates becomes visible to the scheduler, and the schedule becomes visible in Home Assistant.
Open device ecosystems
MQTT / HTTP JSON-RPCEcosystems the controller joins directly, with no vendor cloud in between. Plugs and switches running Tasmota are discovered over MQTT; Shelly Gen2 and newer answer over local HTTP JSON-RPC on the LAN. Devices from other open ecosystems arrive through the generic paths beside this one.
MQTT
MQTTValues and states stream on MQTT topics on the device, so anything on site that speaks MQTT follows the schedule instead of polling for it.
Local HTTP API
RESTA REST API on the device for state, forecasts, schedule and settings, with a machine-readable schema. This is the path for building automation and IT systems that integrate over HTTP.
Meter emulation
ModbusThe controller provides protocol-compatible meter emulation for selected inverter interfaces, including DTSU666-compatible and AlphaESS-compatible modes. This allows supported inverters to communicate with the controller through their standard meter interface.

How to read the list
Depth describes our driver, not the device.
A shallow entry means we have not built the control path yet, usually because the register documentation is not public. It is not a verdict on the manufacturer’s hardware. Levels come from the manufacturer’s protocol documentation and the driver we built against it, not from a bench test of every model.
- Reads
- Every value the device exposes is read and modelled — power, state, energy. Nothing is written back to it.
- Reads + switches
- At least one command is implemented for the device, so the write path itself is open.
- Power control
- Output can be steered: an on/off, a percentage limit or a direct setpoint.
- Power + safety limits
- Steering plus the safety envelope — state-of-charge floor, current limits, operating mode — and the diagnostic points that go with it.
