From the first login to a strategy that actually drives the devices.
The controller is on the rail and powered. These pages take it from there to a site it runs, in the order you will do it:
- First connection — find the controller on the network, get past the certificate warning, log in.
- Readings — check that the built-in meter measures all three phases the right way round.
- Connect a device — register the inverter, battery or wallbox it should work with.
- Strategy — let the controller plan, watch it in shadow mode, then switch it to active.
The last step is the one people miss. Out of the box the strategy is off: the controller measures and shows values, but it does not plan or control anything until someone switches it on.
Two interfaces
There are two places you work in, and both open in the same browser tab:
- The controller's own interface — home, the meter, apps and settings. This is what you see after logging in.
- The Edge Platform — devices, the strategy and the timeline. It opens from the controller's Apps tab; Connect a device shows how.
